The Ritual

How to use your Horn

A simple, four-step ritual to release tension and restore flow. Take your time with each step and let your body feel the difference.

1

Prepare & Nourish

Note that gua sha activates circulation, so only use it on healthy skin and avoid irritated or sensitive areas. If you are pregnant or under medical care, consult a professional before use.

Apply a light layer of oil to protect the skin and allow smooth movement of the horn. Mild redness may appear, which is a normal sign that circulation is activating.

2

Activate & Scrape

Use the firmer side of the horn at a 30-degree angle and scrape in one direction only, from top to bottom and center outward. Work with steady pressure, never forcing or causing pain, and repeat each area about 15 times.

Red or purple marks (“sha”) may appear, indicating areas of stagnation and reduced circulation being released.

3

Restore & Hydrate

Allow any “sha” to fade naturally over the following days without re-scraping. Give your body time to feel, flow and restore.

Drink enough water and note that temporary sensitivity may occur as circulation adjusts. Avoid showering, sauna, sunbeds, or baths for at least two hours after your session.

4

Clean & Care

Clean your Horn after each use with mild soap and warm water. With proper care, it stays in good condition and ready for your next ritual.
